Most outages are not dramatic. They are an expired certificate, a disk that filled up, or an update nobody applied for eight months. The work that prevents them is dull, which is exactly why it stops happening.
Maintenance here means updates applied and checked, backups taken and restored from, certificates renewed before they expire, and uptime monitored so we know before you do. Restoring from a backup is part of the routine, because a backup nobody has tested is a hope.
We host where that makes sense and manage what you already have where it does not. There is no advantage to moving you just so the invoice comes from us.
