Five settings for how much an agent can do without asking
Cogy Code
Each agent runs in one of five permission modes, from read-only planning to working without approval prompts. You can also set allowed tools and blocked commands for each agent.
Plan mode is read-only. Ask mode, the default, asks before every file change or command. Accept-edits allows file changes without asking. Auto only asks before anything that leaves the machine. Bypass turns the prompts off.
Allowed tools and blocked commands are set for each agent on Cogy Server and enforced by Cogy Code.
