Agent Identity.
How Cogy Server knows which agent made a request
Cogy Server identifies each request from the operating system on the server machine, or from Tailscale for requests over the private network. Agents do not log in with passwords or tokens.
On the server machine, the operating system reports which process sent the request and whether it is running in a sandbox. On the private network, Tailscale reports which machine and user sent it.
The registry lists owners, agents, machines and the repositories each agent works on, and grants control what each of them can do. The desktop app is identified in the same way, so it has no login screen.
